Strength of Heart

...serving the Indianapolis downtown community...

Tae Kwon Do is the art of kicking and punching, or the art of unarmed combat. Dan Shi (don-shee) is the Chinese phrase for "Strength of Heart." The values that are practiced in Tae Kwon Do carry into other parts of our lives. Many times it is difficult to make the correct choice; however, right and honorable decisions will lead a person down paths of success and happiness that were never known to exist. Tae Kwon Do training helps us develop discipline and self-esteem to do the right thing.

If you wish to enroll with Dan Shi Martial Arts Club, please feel free to email us at DanShiClub@hotmail.com; also, feel free to ring for more information at 317.507.3505.

Donations

Dan Shi Martial Arts Club is a non-profit and incorporated business. Any donations are considered tax deductible and any giver will receive an annual donation receipt. Sponsorships, as described below are considered donations also. As we are a business to serve and teach, any offering to the club would be greatly appreciated by the students that train and by the instructors who teach for the enjoyment and rewards of watching students grow. We also host many types of fundraisers, so keep an eye on the Announcements & Events link that is updated for fundraising events, among other things.

Upon written request, a donor can be provided written acknowledgment of the contribution. The amount of any contribution deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) contributed by the donor over the value of goods or services provided by the charity. Donors can be provided with a good faith estimate of the value of the goods or services that the donor received. Further information can be reviewed at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1771.pdf.
